Ladies and gentlemen, we got ’em!

Meet our new guitarist, Jiri ten Cate. He’s been playing with the band for a while now, and it’s about time we introduce you to him!

Hi everyone! My name is Jiri and I’m newest addition to the madness that is called Faint Solace.

Originally I developed myself as a jazz and blues player, but after a hiatus I decided to focus solely on metal in all its glory. I had to step up my game to improve my speed and precision to match the intricacies manifested by these men, but here I am!

My playing is influenced by bands such as Meshuggah, Lamb of God, Testament, Arch Enemy and Children of Bodom. I’m also looking forward to finding ways to incorporate jazz and fusion influences in the heaviest music you can imagine!

Together we will bring you breakdowns so heavy, they will push the earth out of orbit. We will bring you guitar solos that will rip your face off! 🤘
